Happy 2019!

Happy New Year!!!

Oh hey, my last post was in 2016, huh? It looks like this blog has been abandoned for so long! LOL It looks like I need to clean up this blog too. 

Anyway, I thought about it... aside from my dad, my brothers are no longer active in blogging. This is a sign that I can start writing some random things, right? 

Last year, I finally finished writing the fanfiction I've been working on since 2012!!! I thought about starting another one. I have a few drafts ready. But then, decided against it.

I wanted to write an original. It feels like I will have a lot more freedom since I didn't have to follow the character too much. But it's also scary. Because I'm writing on original characters, I didn't know them well. It might be hard to write about them later on.

I am actually working on a few stories right now. In this one story, the lead kept changing her characteristic, it drove me insane. LOL I might have to get away from that one for a while.

I'm thinking of posting my work on webnovel just to see what people outside my fandom thinks about my writing. Also, I wanted to know what is it about webnovel. It looks hard, but I'll do my best?!

Camp Nanowrimo + Updates

I'm participating in April 2016 Camp Nanowrimo! 
I'm working on something new and something original. Although, the story might be based on my fanfiction, Love Song. It's going to be a romance/suspense story.
But it seems that I didn't get to write as much as I wanted to. There's just too much distraction. But still... I am making progress. At least, I'm 10% into my writing project. I should be proud of myself, right? 
I've deleted a few post on idol stuff from this blog. I think I'm going to make this blog into my writing blog, or something like that.

Happy New Year!!

I can't believe that I didn't write a single post for this blog last year. Haha...

When I first start this blog (deleting randomness XD and opening up 絶望愛ちゃん, I was planning to write more about myself. But in the end, I didn't. I think, I posted a lot on my obsession with J-idols. I think, writing about myself, and letting others know me more is a bit scary.  Even to my family. Hmm..

I think I'm a bit weird. My friends seem to grow out from J-pop scenes, and none of them were into the fandoms I'm in. 

Seriously...

This year, I have to hear a friend explaining to another friend that Star Wars is a bit like Twilight. I mean... WHAT??? Twilight?

I like Japanese idols, I'm into 

And it is kinda scary that I'm still listening to Japanese idols, considering my age. Should I be listening to more mature song?

Also... I didn't really want the people I know in rl to know that I write stuff..  fanfiction stuff.

More updates

So... Here's the same old excuse for not writing/posting anything on this blog: busyness (and laziness?) I can’t believe I’ve been abandoning my fanfiction for almost 6 months. And I’ve got a few more book reviews to write and post on my blog.

According to my last entry in September 24, 2013, I have been busy babysitting my niece that I haven’t had time to write. And then, in October, I was getting busier with transcribing work, cupcakes baking and babysitting. I think I am almost gone crazy when I didn’t get enough sleep and all that. But looking back, it was fun.

Recently I’ve been posting a new chapter for WWF, a CCS fanfiction. It was hard to write again after abandoning writing for so long. I need to start writing again. Even when there’s no one reading whatever it is that I write. Ha-ha..

Update!

It has been months since I last posted anything on this blog. In fact, I wasn’t active in updating my food and book blog either. I’d like to think that I’m a busy person, although a lot of family and friends would have to disagree…

Anyway, I have been busy babysitting for my niece recently. Who would know that it can be quite time consuming? I haven’t been active writing or reading. This is of course, just an excuse.

When I first started zetsubouaichan, I wanted to write something (various random things) every day so that people will get to know me. But I’m a reserved person. It was quite hard for me to let others to get to me better. Haha…

Ah… I really should start writing again. But there is just too much temptation! DX

Baby Hannah

Remember last year when I posted lots on my brother's wedding preparation?

Well, my sister in law gave birth to a cute baby girl last week. They named her Hannah. Look at her tiny hand! She's really cute!

Job Interview!

I went to an interview recently for a job as a lecturer. A culinary lecturer.

So I sat there in the waiting room, waiting for my turn to be interviewed and started to freak out about everything. I never really wanted to be a lecturer, you see. I'm not really good with teaching. I don't think I have the patience to teach. I could get mad whenever someone ask me anything. Haha...

In the end, I told my interviewers that I can teach even though my head was screaming 'what are you trying to do? You can't teach! Or lecture!' or something like it. My interviewers asked me to come again to demonstrate my skills to cut chicken and fillet some fish. I panicked. I must admit that I'm not really good with filleting or cutting chicken. But I told my interviewers that I will come again for that demonstration. I thought I could train for a couple of days for that demonstration.

I was quite glad actually when they didn't call me again for the demonstration (they did said that I'm a bit too young to teach someone about my age). Because I didn't practice at all. And I never really wanted to be a lecturer. It was fun to go in an interview once in a while though... 

Comic Fiesta 2012

I went to Comic Fiesta 2012 with my siblings last weekend. It was my first time participating Comic Fiesta. It was fun! but tiring. Haha.. There are lots of people! It was jam packed!

I found this person who cosplayed as Sakura from CardCaptor Sakura! ^^

And a cast of Hetalia! I didn't get to snap lots of picture due to camera's problem which was regrettable since I found lots of interesting cosplayers like Princess Leia from Star Wars, Syaoran from Tsubasa, and that beautiful queen of heart..

Cover for Love Song

I made another request to my sister for another book cover for my fanfiction, Love Song. In exchange. I have to take her to watch Rise of the Guardians in cinema. I requested for a picture of Sakura holding a gun. I wanted it in colors at first. But then, I think black and white book cover would look nice too.

I think the first one is a bit dull since there's not much color contrast. So I asked her to make the background darker.

Then, I darkened the picture, add in text and that 'target' using GIMP brushes. This is the final look for Love Song cover. Love Song is supposed to be a crime genre. I think the title Love Song isn't really suitable with the story. I didn't know what was I thinking when I think of the title. Haha...

SCANDAL Special

So... I went to SCANDAL concert last night. It was the first concert I've ever been to. I was so lucky to receive a ticket from a friend as a birthday present!! Thank you so much!

The concert was so much fun! I'm glad SCANDAL performed a few of my favorite songs, including Scandal Baby, Harukaze and Shoujo S. Although, I get a bit lonely since my friends didn't listen to SCANDAL's song. So I have to fangirl all by myself. Ahaha...

I bought myself a 'Queens are trumps' t-shirt! It was a bit expensive, but, what the heck? This is once in a lifetime chance :D

Updates!

It has been quite some times since I post anything here!

I haven't been writing much of my fiction since I start working... plus, my laptop broke down and I lose lots of draft. And then, there's laziness.....

Anyway, I recently switched redeyes143 to Zetsubouaichan as my pen name :3

Kinda feels like I want to start anew after my long absence... I'm going to update my story soon. And I should definitely finish Love Song! It has been a while, after all...

Cover for Worth Fighting For

I have recently start to write another new CCS fanfiction titled, Worth Fighting For. And the idea of a fiction cover crossed my mind. I wanted the cover to have an image of Syaoran's sword. I went through a few screencaps from the series and couldn't find anything suitable. Then, I asked for my sister's help to draw what I wanted.

I told her that I wanted a picture of Syaoran holding his sword, without his full face. And this is how she drew...

  

I used the moon brush from here and add it to the background. Then, I added in some grasses/ground in the picture.

After a few more effects, brushes and strokes, this is how it looks like. The final look for Worth Fighting For.  I think it looks pretty good. What do you think of it?

What am I up to?

It has been weeks since I update this blog.

So... what am I up to?

I got a job (a contract for a few month) as a script transcriber! I have to sit down, listening to interviews for hours. Which is equally entertaining and boring. It was boring when I had to listen to them talking to some sentences that doesn't even make sense.

And recently, I've been busy baking cookies! There are 5 types of cookies. I'll probably update about that in my food blog :D

A gift!

I received this book from my dad today! Janet Evanovich's How I write. Dad knows how that I really like Evanovich's style. So he gave this book as a present to encourage me to write. ^^

Royce' Potatochip Chocolate

I bought this for a friend's birthday. Royce' Potatochip chocolate which I mentioned in Falling Over Me chapter 9. The potatochip is really delicious! The saltiness from the chip and the slight sweetness from the white chocolate taste really well together!!

Flu~

I'm having flu again.
It began with that sore throat...
And now my headache is getting worse!
It seems that I'm getting flu more frequently this year.
I wonder what happen to my antibody?
I don't frequently catch flu in past years...
And this morning I got scolded by my mother and a friend because I didn't eat any medicine.
Haha...
Thank you for worrying about me, girls :)
I'll just take a lot of rest while wearing my rabbit hooded sweater.

Anyway... I’ve been trying to read fewer books and concentrate more on writing. As the result, I now have 5 on-going fictions in ff.net.

I posted my new fiction called Worth Fighting For last week, trying to turn How I Ended Up In Therapy as a chaptered story and trying to write another romance/comedy fiction.

Yeah, I’m insane.

I thought that I shouldn’t stop myself if the ideas are pouring out.

But I probably going to hold the idea of posting another story since I’m going to be AFK in July to November a lot!!

It seems that I've been busy catching up with my writing :D

New chapters of Zutto Mae Kara and Falling Over Me are now complete!

My beta sent me the beta-ed version of ZMK. And I'm waiting for FOM.

But I think I'm going to update ZMK on 15 June :D

I'm trying to figure out how to end Love Song. Perhaps the next chapter will be the last. Or second last?

I was thinking of dropping Tangled Up In You.

And perhaps turn How I Ended Up In Therapy into a long shot story?

Anyway.. I decided to separate my J-pop fangirlism to other blog ファンガールオーバーロード in tumblr since it was easy to reblog. I had a tumblr account for a while and never really post anything. I guess, zetsubouaichan is going to be a place where I rant about my daily life and fanfiction? Yay!

Anyway, I'm working on another fanfiction (of course it's going to be Cardcaptor Sakura). No, I didn't showcase the story on my last post: Sneak Peek #2. I think I'm going to try to write a romance with a bit of historical. magical element in it. I probably going to add in a bit politics in the story. (hint: princess!) But, nothing is confirm yet although the early draft is there... I guess, it depends if I manage not to get distracted  to things or work :D However, I'm going to focus more on ZMK, FOM and Love Song first.
