Comic Fiesta 2012

I went to Comic Fiesta 2012 with my siblings last weekend. It was my first time participating Comic Fiesta. It was fun! but tiring. Haha.. There are lots of people! It was jam packed!

I found this person who cosplayed as Sakura from CardCaptor Sakura! ^^

And a cast of Hetalia! I didn't get to snap lots of picture due to camera's problem which was regrettable since I found lots of interesting cosplayers like Princess Leia from Star Wars, Syaoran from Tsubasa, and that beautiful queen of heart..

Cover for Love Song

I made another request to my sister for another book cover for my fanfiction, Love Song. In exchange. I have to take her to watch Rise of the Guardians in cinema. I requested for a picture of Sakura holding a gun. I wanted it in colors at first. But then, I think black and white book cover would look nice too.

I think the first one is a bit dull since there's not much color contrast. So I asked her to make the background darker.

Then, I darkened the picture, add in text and that 'target' using GIMP brushes. This is the final look for Love Song cover. Love Song is supposed to be a crime genre. I think the title Love Song isn't really suitable with the story. I didn't know what was I thinking when I think of the title. Haha...

SCANDAL Special

So... I went to SCANDAL concert last night. It was the first concert I've ever been to. I was so lucky to receive a ticket from a friend as a birthday present!! Thank you so much!

The concert was so much fun! I'm glad SCANDAL performed a few of my favorite songs, including Scandal Baby, Harukaze and Shoujo S. Although, I get a bit lonely since my friends didn't listen to SCANDAL's song. So I have to fangirl all by myself. Ahaha...

I bought myself a 'Queens are trumps' t-shirt! It was a bit expensive, but, what the heck? This is once in a lifetime chance :D

Updates!

It has been quite some times since I post anything here!

I haven't been writing much of my fiction since I start working... plus, my laptop broke down and I lose lots of draft. And then, there's laziness.....

Anyway, I recently switched redeyes143 to Zetsubouaichan as my pen name :3

Kinda feels like I want to start anew after my long absence... I'm going to update my story soon. And I should definitely finish Love Song! It has been a while, after all...

Cover for Worth Fighting For

I have recently start to write another new CCS fanfiction titled, Worth Fighting For. And the idea of a fiction cover crossed my mind. I wanted the cover to have an image of Syaoran's sword. I went through a few screencaps from the series and couldn't find anything suitable. Then, I asked for my sister's help to draw what I wanted.

I told her that I wanted a picture of Syaoran holding his sword, without his full face. And this is how she drew...

  

I used the moon brush from here and add it to the background. Then, I added in some grasses/ground in the picture.

After a few more effects, brushes and strokes, this is how it looks like. The final look for Worth Fighting For.  I think it looks pretty good. What do you think of it?

It has been weeks since I update this blog.

So... what am I up to?

I got a job (a contract for a few month) as a script transcriber! I have to sit down, listening to interviews for hours. Which is equally entertaining and boring. It was boring when I had to listen to them talking to some sentences that doesn't even make sense.

And recently, I've been busy baking cookies! There are 5 types of cookies. I'll probably update about that in my food blog :D
